Roast Turkey Legs with Bacon Jam Gravy

An easy to prepare and serve meal which tastes great

  • Two pieces of turkey legs from Tesco or anywhere else
  • Spuds (not peeled)
  • Asparagus
  • Samphire
  • Chantilly Carrots
  • Broccoli or whatever veg you prefer
  • Salt, Pepper, Butter and Original Bacon Jam


Smother the legs in butter and season well.  Then put them in a roasting tray in the oven at gas mark 7/180.

Steam the spuds for 10 mins then add them to the tray.

Steam any other vegetables you want for about 40 minutes of roasting the turkey.

Then check the legs are cooked and the potatoes are crunchy.

Then move to a serving dish.

Add two teaspoons of Bacon Jam to the pan, scrale all the goodnewss and butter together.  Then add a bit of water and bring to a simmer.

Easy of what! – and ready to serve, it’s delicious.
